As of July 1, 2022:
Passengers entering national territory will no longer required to present proof of having been tested for SARS-CoV-2 infection with negative results or to present a COVID EU digital certificate or a vaccination or recovery certificate issued by third countries, accepted or recognized in Portugal, regardless of their origin or purpose of travel.
The epidemiological situation both in Portugal and inte
rnationally, particularly within the European Union following the pandemic of the disease COVID-19 has remained relatively stable and therefore no longer justifies the adoption of exceptional measures on air traffic, airports, and maritime and river borders.
The measures in place may be reviewed according to the evolution of the epidemiological situation.

- Public transportation and taxis.
- Access and visits to nursing homes and healthcare facilities.
